Background

Emily Blumenfeld and Meridith McKinley created Via Partnership, LLP in 1999. They bring twenty-plus years of experience working in the evolving field of public art and design.

Via Partnership’s work encompasses public art project development and management, art master planning, artist selection, artist management, and community involvement.

Via Partnership has developed public art plans for the City of Clayton, Missouri; Arts in Transit in St. Louis, Missouri; the 12th Street Cultural Corridor in Lincoln, Nebraska; the City of Frisco, Texas, and the City of Allen, Texas; and the City of Calgary, Alberta department of Utilities and Environmental Protection. Via has recently completed, in partnership with the planning firm Brown and Keener Bressi, public art master plans for San José, California; Clearwater, Florida, and Pinellas County, Florida and is near completion on a plan for Vancouver, British Columbia.

Currently, Via is managing public art projects in St. Louis, Missouri, Calgary, Alberta, Washington, DC, Arlington, Virginia, and Frisco, Texas. Via has worked with more than 70 artists on design collaboration projects, site-specific installations, and community art projects.
