Meridith McKinley
Partner, Via Partnership, LLP

Meridith McKinley brings her significant expertise in strategic planning, fundraising, budgeting, and community engagement to Via’s many public art planning projects. Meridith has managed many high-profile public art projects in Missouri, Texas and Virginia, and has successfully secured funding for public art and related education programs. She has authored the public art master plan for the City of Frisco, Texas and co-authored the plans for the City of Allen, Texas and the City of Clayton, Missouri. Working in partnership the urban planning firm Brown and Keener Bressi, she has also co-authored public art master plans for the City of San José, California; the City of Clearwater, Florida; Pinellas County, Florida, and Vancouver, British Columbia.

Prior to starting Via, Meridith worked as a project consultant for Metro Arts in Transit in St. Louis, where she worked on the Delmar MetroLink Station Enhancement Project, the Forest Park MetroLink Transit-Oriented Development Study and served as editor for MetroLink Communities, a development resource guidebook. During the same period, Meridith helped to establish a leadership development program for Metropolis St. Louis, a nonprofit organization whose mission is to attract and retain young people in the City of St. Louis.

Meridith is active in numerous civic organizations in St. Louis.  She is the immediate past board president of St. Louis ArtWorks and serves on a grant review panel for the Regional Arts Commission in St. Louis.

Meridith is an alumna of the Coro Fellows Program in Public Affairs. She received a Bachelor of Arts with honors from the University of Iowa.
